Tata Game Angling to host Angling Cymru senior and under-18 fly fishing bank championships

Senior & U18 Game Angling Championships

Angling Cymru will be holding a fly fishing bank championships for seniors and under-18s on Sunday 25th May 2025 at Tata Game Angling, Eglwys Nunydd – a 260-acre reservoir in Margam, near Port Talbot.

Entry is £25 and this can be paid on the day. This fee also covers a day ticket at Tata.

Meet on the day at 8.30am for a 9am start. The competition will conclude at 3.30pm and the weigh in will be completed by 4pm. All participants will be able to continue fishing after the competition as you will have paid for a day ticket.

The competition trophies in both the senior and U18 categories to be awarded are for:

· Biggest fish

· Heaviest bag

On the day, there will be a lodge facility available which will offer toilet facilities and access to a kettle to make coffee and tea. This is where we will meet at the start and at the end for the weigh in.

Entrants must be either individual members of Angling Cymru or members of an Angling Cymru affiliated club.

Please note: This event will coincide with a Cowbridge and District and Llandeilo Angling Associations club competition taking place on the same day. As Cowbridge and Llandeilo are both affiliated with Angling Cymru, their participants will also be automatically taking part and eligible to win the Angling Cymru competition – so there should be good numbers in attendance.
