Thirty-five sea anglers fished the Shore DragonMania North Wales Final at Abererch last Saturday evening (18th July 2026). With the weather set fair, hopes were high. Wales Seniors, Ladies, and U16s teams picked up a hat-trick of silver medals at the 2026 SALC Home Nations Shore Championships in Kent. Men's carp Team Wales crowned 2026 Home Nations champions
The Welsh men’s carp team have been crowned Home Nations champions for 2026 after edging a tight contest at Lyons Drove Fishery in Cambridgeshire that went right to the wire. Inaugural DragonMania Boat competition hosted by Cardiff Bay Yacht Club
Last Saturday (13th June) the inaugural DragonMania Boat event took place, hosted by Cardiff Bay Yacht Club, coinciding with CBYC’s annual summer open. The measure competition was catch and release and attracted 66 anglers and 20 boats. There were some top boat anglers at the event, which started at 8am and back to the weigh in by 7pm.
