Wanted: International Team Manager – Coarse, Float - Juniors/Youths

Angling Cymru is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us as a team manager for the coarse anglers junior/youths float fishing team.

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of angling in Wales, supporting the development of the sport and developing junior anglers with a view to them joining the senior team in time.

We welcome applications from people with a passion for angling and a desire to make a positive difference. Previous international management, and experience is desirable but not essential.

Angling Cymru expects its International Team Managers to uphold the highest standards of conduct, promoting our ethos, culture & values.

· To provide a central point of contact, liaison for communication & information on behalf of the team.

· Selected Team Managers for specific teams will be responsible for setting dates and venues for trials and coaching/training sessions.

· To plan & organise team practice sessions prior to the relevant championship

· To identify the coaching or skills training needs of team members & provide that coaching, or bring in a specialist coach, if required.

· To arrange all team travel, travel itineraries, accommodation, bait & anything else required for the pre-event practice and the championship itself.

· To provide information to team members & parents/guardians as appropriate on arrangements and in accordance with the Safeguarding Policies.
