Inaugural DragonMania Boat competition hosted by Cardiff Bay Yacht Club

Updated: 2 days ago

Last Saturday (13th June) the inaugural DragonMania Boat event took place, hosted by Cardiff Bay Yacht Club, coinciding with CBYC’s annual summer open.

The measure competition was catch and release and attracted 66 anglers and 20 boats. There were some top boat anglers at the event, which started at 8am and back to the weigh in by 7pm.

Despite the strong westerly winds, which didn't do what the weather forecast predicted, most boats were able to get out to the marks.

The first place boat and crew was Mista Seas (skipper Umur Chohan) with 417cm combined length and took away £1,000, plus a Honda back up engine and Fenix head lamp.

Second place boat and crew was White Water II (skipper Andrew Alsop) with 385 cm combined length, bagging £300 and a Fenix head lamp.

Third place boat and crew was CEEJAY (skipper Steve Lane) with 374cm combined length to claim £200 and a Fenix head lamp.

There were also spot prizes for the largest specimen (each taking £100 each):

Smooth Hound (Mista Seas) 118cm

Blonde Ray (Mista Seas) 66cm

Conger Eel (CEEJAY) 152cm

Wildcard Fish (Seagulls) Bullhuss at 95cm

The Juniors prize of a £100 voucher went to Jakob Grant on Matrix (skipper Paul Grant).

The prize pot totalled to around £4,000

Angling Cymru would also like to extend sincere thanks all involved at Cardiff Bay Yacht Club along with all the sponsors of this event – which we hope will grow even bigger next year!

I had heard stories about people failing drug tests because of testosterone and wanted accurate information before my next screening. In the middle of my research, https://drugtestingsupplies.com/blog/dot/does-testosterone-show-up-in-urine-drug-test became the resource that stood out. This well-researched guide explains the difference between anabolic steroids and therapeutic testosterone, when it might show up on specialized tests, and what most employers and DOT actually screen for. Many men on TRT said it helped them understand the reality and stop worrying unnecessarily.
