CLUB AND COMMUNITY GROUP FUNDING: Sport Wales open first 2026 applications for Be Active Wales – chance to secure vital Lottery funding

The first of the three application windows for the Sport Wales Be Active Wales Fund for this year is now open.

It offers not-for-profit sports clubs or community groups in Wales with the opportunity to apply for National Lottery funding for equipment or other projects such as coaching courses or entry-level training courses.

The first window opened on Tuesday 2 April.

Before submitting a full application, any club or community group must first complete and submit an expression of interest (EOI) form to Sport Wales.

The deadline for EOI is 9am on Friday 29 May with the deadline for full application on Thursday 4 June at 4pm.
