30-angler Shore DragonMania Final line-up confirmed after qualifiers conclude

The 30-strong line-up for the 2025 DragonMania shore sea angling final, taking place at Pwllheli on 9 August, has been confirmed after the regional qualifiers concluded last weekend.

Pendine beach in Carmarthenshire was the venue for the sixth and final qualifying match last Saturday afternoon (26 July) with Josh Norris (375cm) leading five qualifiers at that venue, which also included Ivor Smith, Dorian Harris, Craig Maddock and Richard Morgan.

Earlier the same day, the north region played host to a qualifier at Abererch in Gwynedd – where Colwyn Bay Victoria SAC member Danny Parker won the match with three bream, two ballan wrasse, two corkwing wrasse and two tompot blenny, totalling 151cm.

It was a Colwyn Bay one-two with Alan Price finishing second with 93cm ahead of Three Herrings SAC trio Dewi Parry, Iwan Jones and Deian Parry – who all also qualified.
