Last Saturday (13th June), Brynhenllys Fishery kindly provided the venue for Angling Cymru’s 2026 Bank Fly Fishing Competition. For the second year running, it was held at Brynhenllys Fishery – a 2-acre lake situated in the foothills of the Black Mountains, offering outstanding views of the spectacular countryside. Last Saturday (13th June) the inaugural DragonMania Boat event took place, hosted by Cardiff Bay Yacht Club, coinciding with CBYC’s annual summer open. The measure competition was catch and release and attracted 66 anglers and 20 boats. There were some top boat anglers at the event, which started at 8am and back to the weigh in by 7pm.
